Its fucking brilliant. I went last year and had to leave on the sat cos my mate went a bit mental. But from the wednesday til then it was brilliant.

A tip tho, dont take a tent. Get a hammock and a sheet to use as a canopy and get there as early in the week as you can to get a decent shaded spot. The sun in the morning is rediculous.

Went in the summer can honestly say best holiday I've ever had. Spent 2 days either side of the festival in the Hilton Barcelona, was quality.

Really good festival lotsa great bands and amazing weather, spent the day on the beach and the night at the festival getting utterly wasted until next morning. Beats any English festivals IMO, simply cos of the weather and fit spanish birds. There is shit loads of English out there too though.

A good idea is buy a big gazebo and sleep under that on lilos. Tents get unbearably hot. Gonna buy my tickets for next year soon.

To be honest, there is as many English there as Spanish. Everything stays open until really late and theres partys on the beach afterwards etc.

Can't wait to see the line-up for this year, this years line-up was good but nothing compared with earlier years. Though to be fair, even if the line-up was shit you'd have a great time. Spose you gotta be a little open minded about music or atleast into some sort of live music to go though. Cos last year there was no DNB (not that I heard anyway).

Buying my ticket tomorrow, 125 until 15th January.

I had that feeling about the tent thing, will see what happens may take a fairly large one 5 person or that so it has got some air and room etc. 2 man tent is a no no I think.

What are the shower/shitter facilities like?

The toilet facilities are good, better than most UK festivals as they get cleaned out like every morning. They have showers too but it all depends where you camp. Don't know about bonet cos I stayed in FIB but camping near as possible to showers was a touch for us, some people had to walk quite a way with towels and toiletries then walk back soaking, fuck that. The showers are like a long line fits about 30 people or so, some of the spanish birds shower nude too

But yeah facilities are good, but my advice is camp near to the showers dotted around.

You won't get much San Miguel inside the festival, it's sponsored by Heineken

But you get it obviously when you go out side. All about Litre cups of beer they do out there

I went to exit, it was fuuuuuuuuckin amazin, but I haven't been to beni so can't compare.  Seems to be less 'dance' there though which is kinda what deters me.

yeah went to exit last year - this seems a bit more Reading-ish line-up wise although venue/weather looks sick.  Think i may go to exit again 10-13 july and then make my way over to germany for full moon 16-21 july, by which time i will either be dead or a fully fledged drug spastic suffering from heat exhaustion.  Was tempted to go to that 5 week festival too over by the red sea i think, although they have banned camping there now which is a real shame otherwise that looks insane too.  All about the foreign festivals these days, tho will probably go to the Glade if its on and doesn't clash with anything.  Roll-on the summer

Done about £800, but you can do it in WAY less than that. Yes, there are DJs there too. I saw a Peaches Geldof set lol, but there are good djs there.

Looks utterly wank from the most recent lineup I could find

The Killers are headlining this year so I assume it's more of the same

    edit: 2017 was marginally better

Yeah the Killers are all I could see too. Could be one of those things where the general vibe of the festival outweighs any of the musical fluff.

If not will try and swerve the group towards a more respectable music direction.

Razorlight haven't released any new music in 10 years, do they literally just play the same old songs over and over?
