Next car thread.

What would you suggest as a next car. Ive got 3 years no claims and want something that is fast as standard
I Dont want to spend any more than a grand and half on it really so looking towards an older car, probably nothing newer than a 2000' plate.
Personally ive always want the Pug 106 XSI 1600cc, or the GTI but after owning 4 106's now i think its time for something differant.
Saxo's are out the question so please dont suggest them.

CONFIDENCE ISNT ENOUGH, WHAT YOU MUST HAVE IS ABILITY

R5 GT Turbos are good fun, but death-traps due to age and structural strength being like that of a tin can.

Golf GTi, for the money you've got a well looked after mark3 or a higher milage mk4 perhaps.

Even good nick MR2s and Preludes come into your budget on occasion.

Unless i'm getting you mistaken i've seen your car threads on here you have some utter turd heao and even my current car is nicer then something your likley to own for a very long time.

A 3.2 DSG brand new TT is far from a queer car and certainly not a 'girly' car. The new ones are massivly different and ALOT better.

Well done yourself on such terrible car knowledge!

i dont pretend to have loads of cash to spend on cars, but if i was spending what you plan too i would buy a more manly car, like an a4 s3 quattro (300+ horse power), or something like that, not a poncy TT.

dont buy brand new then, buy with 30k on the clock which is what i meant when i said for the same money. And the way you go on about my shit cars, i like to pay in cash for my stuff, it would be too easy to go get something on finance but i dont want to so get off your high horse.

if u get a 40k on the clock s3 for 13k and dont put another 40k on it then ur gonna almost make ur money back you retard, its all about putting minimal mileage on cars that price and buying a another every year, with audi and VW they hold value so well you can get away with minimal loss.

HP companies always factor in the depreciation of the car for when they have to resell it if the car is returned. Also, the end fee you can choose to pay is over the going market rate for the vehicle, and depending on contract you're limited to the mileage you can do and you have to service it regularly, or they'll void their warranty and can demand a full settlement for breach of contract.

Its not always a bed of roses.

Well it depends. I reckon the next car would be something newer but not new - something like a black ford focus 1.6 automatic old shape. it'll be slower than my current vectra, but to be honest that's not really a bad thing. even the standard ones look good in three door.

on the other hand, what I really really want is a Toyota Supra 3.0 Twin Turbo Automatic in black. Hoowever, I'm not sure i really want to be driving a car older than my current car. I know it's japanese and thus bulletproof, the poor thing would have been ragged all over the shop. there's newer than my car available, but by the time i get round to affording a new car, it's probably be 12 years old for a 1999 car

Meh, it was that or a BMW 3 series. Both are complete cunt cars, don't get me wrong i'm under no illusion

Well it's not just the TT. all small sports coupes like that are a bit, well. erm, anyway. just by their sheer size and general styling. apart from the 350z perhaps?but that's more money.

and a bmw 3 series man..... howabout the new mercedes c class in black? amg kit, should look nice. not quite as sporty, but that's pobably advisable for someone as tree friendly as yourself
