Think he threw one punch which missed.

Imagine actually paying to go and see that, lol.

Haye is a fucking hard hitter i will say, but that guy he fought was absolutely dreadful. Would love to see Joshua v Haye.

What an absolute farce. He didn't need to fight such a bum even after being away for a few years.

In other news Tyson Fury wearing a chinchilla coat

Over 200 over the little fellas had to get skinned alive so he could look like even more of a tit than usual, what a scum bag.

He certainly looks promising but he really hasn't fought anyone of any note.

Agreed about Parker, he throws bombs.  Would be good to see him against Joshua at some point.

Deontay Wilder was sick yesterday.  That punch that put away Szpilka

Sick KO but I had him down a couple rounds at that stage. Never looks convincing but always dangerous with that right hand. I fancy Fury to beat him.

Wilder's defence is a bit suspect at times, Stiverne had him buzzed in their fight.  If Fury does what he did against Klitschko which was continuously changing stances and using his 85 inch reach he'd do well.  I think it could either end with a Wilder KO or a Fury points decision.  Would be a great fight but Fury needs to get past Klitschko first.

this man knows!

i have followed his entire career, i even caught one of his early fights when i lived in NZ, i may be looking at him through rose tinted glasses as im nostalgic for everything NZ but he and joshua will clean this division up, they both destroy wilder and fury (even now IMO)

parker V joshua will be one of the biggest fights of the decade when they fight next year / 2018. i actually cannot wait.
so tragic tua never got to be world champ, especially as he knocked out like 4-5 future world champs in devastating fashion, im positive parker will be the first NZ heavyweight champion of the world

from south aucklandddd new zealand, the NEWWWW undisputed champiooooon of the world

props to fury for beating klit. but cmon, beating a 40 year champion who was terrified to throw a single punch wasnt really as amazing as it could of been (if klit was in his prime)

Fury could outbox them both as they're both still green, but i just dont rate fury, he has great movement for a big man true. but his power is non existent and getting dropped by cruiserweights and journeyman isn't really a great sign for when a big heavyweight hits him flush is it?

I know what you're saying, Fury is terrible to watch but he's just learnt from his early career to use his insane reach and just pick people off.

I could see Fury just jabbing the pair of their heads off for a boring 12 round UD at this point. There's no way he's going to stand and trade with them, and to be fair, why would he when he can just pick them apart?

Im just looking forward to when Joshua is experienced enough to fight fury, then hopefully annihilate him in the most glorious way imaginable.

I'm no boxing expert, nor do I know even half of what most of you do, but he unified a division, stepped up a weight and became a world champion at heavyweight. Joke is a bit harsh.

Also, sick fencing response from the corpse they got him to fight.

Maybe it is harsh. Mormeck was a good win
Just hard to take him that seriously after his effort vs Wlad - it was truly pathetic and then the toe chat
Also, pulling out of fights V Fury etc. Keeps going on about fans all the time but seems to be mugging so many people off

He was never big enough to be a HW last time, I genuinely believe he spend some of his time away from the ring on growth, steds. His legs are HUGE now.

Yeah, he is massive.

Still, that bloke was an Australian bum... so cringe when Haye was parading around the ring like he had won the world cup with his socks and shorts pulled right up. Cock.

I like him.... he is a bit of turd outside the ring but aside from Klitchko he's guaranteed to bring entertainment.

Just a poor man's Lennox Lewis. Wouldn't even get mentioned if he wasn't English.

I don't know why I'm bothering to engage you seriously, but have you ever watched boxing? Aside from the fact they both punch people either and they're both black, they couldn't be any more different in the ring.

Re: RE: Boxing tonight 2016/01/18 23:11:53 (permalink)
yeah haye is nowhere near lewis' level, both orthodox fighters, lewis was more standup and jabbed more, while haye is more a slippy counterpunching brawler, but he did use the left to set up the right very similarly. Only real style difference was the right hand, lewis favoured overhand crosses and uppercuts while haye has a weird clubbing hook.

Watched enough boxing to not get my nose broken.
