The herkyjerky tho.. fuck off lol.

Think fury should have had that on points, how one judge could have gone 4 points the other way was ridiculous imo

I’d love to see that Mexican judge’s scorecard. One or two rounds you could possibly justify but giving it to Wilder by four means you judged the rest of the non-knockdown rounds even, serious mental gymnastics.

All the trash talking was so obviously just some WWE shit and confirmed after the fight, I've rarely seen two fighters like each other so much

When two judges have almost opposite scores you know something isn't right, boxing isn't usually hard to score and that fight definitely wasn't. But ignoring the rules completely it still doesn't feel too unfair IMHO.

Most refs would have ended it when Fury's eyes were rolling and he was flat on his back on the 8 count, just goes to show that they are usually too rash.

This. I had a feeling it would be a draw.. It is in everyone's best interest so they can rake it in all over again with the rematch

Rochin was 100% paid off. Nobody with functioning eyesight could have given the first four rounds to Wilder. He was getting schooled.

Some fight that was. I would have bet my entire life savings Fury was gone when he hit the canvas. His eyes were rolling until about the 6 count!

Draw was a fair result when you factor in the 2 knockdowns.

It's not a fair result by the actual standards of boxing judging though is it? Fury won about 34 minutes of a 36 minute fight. I'm not even a Fury fan but that result is a monumental piss take.

No way did Wilder win the first 4 lol.

Good fight, still. Thought they were pretty equal. Maybe one or two rounds to Fury but those knock downs should've cost him the slim lead he had.

It makes sense when you consider how boxing is judged. 2 10-8 rounds means that he'd only need to win 2 other rounds 10-9 and it's a a 114-114 draw. You could make a case that he won at least 2 other rounds, especially when you look at how many variables there are for judges to consider. You could win 35 min 59 seconds and get hit with a bomb and nothing else matters, look up Froch vs Taylor to see that exact thing happening!

I couldn't make a case for Wilder winning, but a Fury win, or a draw is an easy result to swallow.

i dont think i have ever seen someone get up at 9 when they are out cold at 6 after their head bounced off the canvas, unbelievable. i went from ' hes out, hes out' to ' he cant get up' to 'holy shit he got up' 'he cant survive no way' ' omfg hes hurt wilder!'

If he won two other rounds 10-9 he would lose 114-112 on the scorecard. And either way one judge had Wilder winning without the two knockdowns which is insane.

Thats how I had it, two rounds to Wilder along with the two knockdowns and all the rest to Fury so a 114-112 Fury win.  Boxing is just too corrupt now.  So much money and politics involved that that these type of fuckeries are becoming an increasingly frequent thing.

Was surprised at how well Fury boxed to be honest.  No signs of ring rust at all and he put on a boxing clinic.  He showed Wilder so many looks he didn't know how to react.  Hit him with jabs at will, smashed him several times with the jab straight right hand, was going round Wilders guard with hooks and was slipping all of Wilders big swings.  Its amazing to think that Wilder only really landed that right hand properly once in the entire fight in the 12th.

I just don't watch any pre-fight build up shit nowdays. Total waste of time and usually setting up for a disappointment.

Don't hate a draw with the 2 knock downs but would say Fury deserved it after getting up after that. Ridiculous.

Someone I know stuck a tenner on a draw at 28/1. He was still fucking pissed about the result.

Very, it was a fairly comfortable points victory but he got punched a lot more than he did when he faced world class opponents and this was against very poor opposition. Khan would deal with him easily on that form, I always used to think Brook would win that fight.
