8 minutes of Mayweather calmly dodging punches like he's in the Matrix. Movement is insane.

You'll watch it though. And so will millions of people on PPV. Cant really blame them for giving the audience what they want if there's a 9 figure purse on the line.

How is that in any way similar? He only retired last year and Pacquiao is still a world champion

Mayweather has been mugging off spectators for years. He retired last year after a freak show against someone who doesn't even box professionally.

The last fight between them was dreadful and this will be worse. I'm only bothered because of the money it will inevitably involve.

Surely he has enough money by now to last him several lifetimes over. He's 50-0 why not just leave it at that?

Scum.

Remember my mate saying there was a video of BJS getting his son to punch a random bloke in the nads at a HMV.

Hope Andrade nails him

Sloppy start by AJ but that is a brutal right to floor Povetkin. Sent him to the Shadow Realm.

AJ is going to get undone really soon. He's looked so average against his 'top' opponents. Based on that performance, Wilder bangs him out early. As much as I like Hearn for putting on so many great cards it's shocking the way they're avoiding Fury. Hearn now saying Tyson is the most unentertaining fighter ever, c'mon son.

Thought Joshua looked crap and showed a lot of vulnerabilities.  He closed it out well once he had Povetkin hurt but every time Povetkin got inside AJ's guard or showed him angles he was lighting him up.  Nearly dropped him in the first round and mashed his nose as well...

I think as soon as AJ comes against someone as big as him that can genuinely box thats the end.  I still think he beats Wilder but the likes of Joe Joyce and especially Usyk beat him.  There's also contenders like Dubois coming up who'd likely do a job.  Its very well known that Dubois dropped AJ badly in sparring with 18 oz gloves on so imagine what he'd do with 10 oz!

Wilder has looked extremely poor against significantly worse fighters than Povetkin before catching them with big punches. AJ isn't perfect by any stretch but he kept his composure well last night and brutally finished someone with only one previous loss on his record. Not a terrible performance by any stretch of the imagination.

He's a lot more intelligent than your average gypo, Hughie Fury can barely talk lol. Shame about all the religious nonsense though.

What a load of shite - Joe Joyce is slow as anything and has terrible technique. Dubois just went 10 rounds with Kevin Johnson who AJ KO'd in 2 - he's done absolutely nothing to suggest he can step up and beat AJ (other than sparring rumours which he started himself) and he won't be risked for another 2+ years anyway.

Like Klitschko?

Wilder will always have a puncher's chance and Fury/Uysk could be a frustrating night but AJ goes into all of those as favourite and rightly so.

Errr you don't become an Olympic silver medalist if you've got terrible technique m9... infact Joyce was robbed in Rio lets face it he clearly beat Tony Yoka.  Joe Joyce is VERY unorthadox and is a big man with power.  I can only assume you've seen a handful of his fights not the World Series of Boxing stuff where he was fighting people like Usyk without a headguard on.  Tyson Fury speaks very highly of him and freely admits to being knocked down in sparring.

As for Wilder he'd get banged out!  His best chance would be to get AJ before AJ gets at him but that aint happening coz Wilder usually requires a few rounds to find his range.

AJ brings huge power to the table but besides that not much else and he telegraphs most of his work so fighters can read him.  A fighter as big in size as him, with a high boxing IQ and ring generalship will beat him.  Ortiz, Uysk etc would be feeding him left hand straights from the southpaw stance and pivoting off all night making him look stupid.  Infact even Dillian Whyte would give him hell now.  Whyte's jabbing has improved, hes a phenominal body puncher and throws a mean left hook.  You cant really say AJ has a definitive style or has improved.  Against Povetkin he was trying to box and was even trying to do some shoulder roll shit thinking he's Floyd ffs but it dont quite work when you're that muscular or robotic.

Wilder won Bronze and his technique is also terrible and Yoka handily beat Joyce, Yoka was showboating towards the end, Joyce was just coming forward crudely and eating shots, what fight were you watching? I did watch his WSB fight vs. Uysk where he got schooled - Joyce will be a title challenger but he doesn't beat AJ.

Tbf I agree with everything else you said, though AJ would overpower Ortiz and Uysk in the end. Uysk is great but he isn't a power puncher at CW and AJ would just have to fight cautiously vs. Ortiz in the early rounds and take him out when he runs out of gas, just as Wilder did and just as AJ beat Povetkin.
