Calzaghe and Collins also parked him from memory. I think he was only ever stopped once though. Did Benn put him down? Have to watch both of those fights again soon.

Yeah, Benn put Eubank down in the first fight, although Chris claimed at the time he slipped. Amazing fight

Groves/Cox tonight, should be sick. Want Groves to win purely for the Eubank Jr matchup after. Looked a bit gaunt at the weigh-in mind.

Eubank was never stopped, the stoppage on his record was due to massive amount of swelling/cuts.

And cox Groves is not a hard fight to call at all. Cox is a light middleweight and is tiny at SMW, the fact he has never fought anyone inside the 50 of any division coupled with the fact he is crap leads me to believe he will get KTFO

These tournament format boxing competitions always add interest to the fights. Remember the one with Froch, Ward, Kessler and Abraham being good.

Pulev out vs AJ. replaced by Carlos Takam who has a loss to Parker already

That's bullshit. Takam is durable but no real test - late stoppage I reckon.

Luiz Ortiz was the only guy at HW that posed a threat to AJ.  For a big man he moved about like a light heavyweight and came with power.  He had previous with cheating though and will almost certainly lose his ranking with the WBA as well as a long suspension for this one.

I'd like to see the Dillian Whyte AJ rematch.  Whyte has shown hes got a chin and in their first fight he was more or less handicapped with a fucked shoulder so it wasn't really fair.  He will BATTER AJ's body with shots so it'd be interesting to see how AJ's stamina holds out.

id have preferred a Whyte rematch too, though he signed for the undercard just before the injury.
guy always seems to miss out on a title shot. he's been calling out Wilder/Parker for ages

Eddie Hearn actually offered Wilder a career best purse of around £7m to fight Whyte but he turned it down.  That's why Wilder gets such a bad rap - he's fought no one but taxi drivers up to now and turns down legitimate challenges.  Looking like he's gonna fight Stiverne again, fuck knows why, he won the first fight easily and it was as boring as hell.

Whyte is fighting Helenius on the undercard for the WBC Silver title so if he comes through its gonna be difficult for Wilder to avoid him.

Got on it with prince naseems sons last night. Nice kids, but the whole hoods up, gangbanging Asian rudeboy thing doesn't really work when you went to private school and live on Wentworth.

Considered it, but on balance of probability, it didn't seem like a great idea.

Looks like Joshua v Parker could be a goer if AJ will give up 35% of the takings.

Parker's just held a press conference trolling him with a video of all the times he's been dropped in his career. Didn't realise he'd been knocked on his arse so often. https://www.stuff.co.nz/s...ss-chin-anthony-joshua

Didn't Joshua's team put 20% on the table? If Parker's asking for almost double that, I'd expect the negotiations to drag on for a while before anything happens, depending on when Joshua feels like fighting him. If it happened tomorrow I reckon Parker would get dealt to.

That's sparring though. Been down once as a pro to a Wladimir straight right, no shame in that. Joseph Parker has never been hurt but he hasn't been in with a big puncher, being a Samoan probably has a solid chin, but I'm not sure he really has the power to hurt Joshua who probably has an average chin for a heavyweight.

Joshua's downfall will be his conditioning/size. His last 2 fights he has come in at a career high weight, McCracken isn't an amateur so fuck knows how this has been allowed to happen.
