The punch stats were interesting. Canelo landed more power punches. For me, if a round is a swing round you have to give it to the guy relentlessly walking down the opponent, dominating the centre of the ring and constantly working them with aggression which is why I thought Golovkin should have won by a margin.

This is it really, different judges prefer different styles.

At least we are pretty much guaranteed a rematch of the fight of the year. Some epic exchanges. I'd gladly watch another instalment.

FOTY will be Loma vs Rigo in December!

Is he the Cuban boxer? Read a book about him a few years back. Very interesting story

@Lrrr
really?

I don't even see it as a competitive fight at this stage, loma stops him mid to late on. Rigo is just too small and too old. And don't forget he's been dropped multiple times by total bum's.

Best year of boxing for me, this last 3 weeks has been amazing. and we've got Parker V Fury this weekend, Ramirez V Hart, Valdez, seeing luke campbell get sparked out cold by Linares.

And the fight im most looking forward to: Dimitry Kudrashov V Yunior Dorticos, which will be an absolute bloodbath that lasts about 3 rounds

I want Loma to win, most enjoyable boxer to watch since Pacman in his prime but he hasn't really been in with anyone great. Rigo is still a phenomenal pure boxer and I think they're gonna regret not slowly increasing Loma's competition.

That said if he comes out and clowns Rigo like he has other people, he's the undisputed P4P number 1.

Who on earth thought it would be a good idea putting Luke Cambell in with Linares

I like linares - classy fighter and seems like a good guy. I think it will go the distance but he will win convincingly.

Rigo is moving up 2 weight classes, bad matchmaking for me.

"I fuck your wife in your bed"   This aint gonna be an easy fight for Eubank Jr.  This guy has been bashing people up in sparring plus hes the one that knocked out Degale's front teeth originally.

It's a good little series this. Groves v Eubank Jnr would be a good fight.

Yeh, would love to see him Vs Groves.

Good scrap between Crolla & Burns. Conor Benn dashed that dude also, looks sharp.

Very hard to call, one is on his way up and the other already towards the top with only one way to go. Hopefully Groves gets through his fight next week

I think eubank beats groves on current form. He absolutely smashed that turk last night.

He does get caught though.

Groves can bang, but then so could the Turk.

Has Eubank been down in his career?

His old man was acquainted with a canvas.

Only in the latter stages of his career. Those who dropped him in his prime ended up paying the price. He was a fierce competitor and I get the impression his son is playing about either.

Are you trying to say Eubank Snr didn't have a good chin?

I have Eubank Jr winning, Groves is spent - looks slow. Still has his power but I think Eubank Jr has a decent chin and while Eubank doesn't have great power I think he has enough to trouble Groves. Groves can only win if he just jabs his head off all night.

I think he was a little to start with and should have beaten Saunders based on what he is showing (I feel he had that then but wasnt mature enough to use it)

Not at all. I just seem to remember him being down a fair few times in his career. Once he got up off it and nearly killed Michael Watson.

Re: Eubank Jr Groves, Groves has been in with a much better calibre of fighter. Not convinced that Eubank has faced a top opponent yet.

Eubanks familiarity with the canvass was a testament to the calibre of his peers. Benn in particular
