You're thinking of Naseem Hamed

He's just got out actually

says he's making a comeback once a month

Although Khan did have issues with driving illegally also

Kanh hit a pedestrian in feb time and got done for it recently!

Nassim Hammed just hit Burger King

GAME OVER MAN!!!

khans making decent fighters look like fucking amateurs. considering hes fighting every 2 months i think hes been quite sensible in his choice of opponents. most boxers dont turn pro til their early 20s, whereas khans already got a 9 or 10-0 record with a nice ko %

the next year will be interesting, think well see him fighting some of the 2nd tier fighters in the coming months to prepare him for the real big guns. be interesting to see what weight he ends up, he seems to get stockier by the month

Innit

People don't realise cause of his ameture career in the spotlight he's been in the public eye from the off

People like Hatton didn't become well known nationally and in the general public until about 15 fights into his pro career

exactly

hatton got criticised for having easy fights early in his career but it did him no harm. junior witter paid the price for fighting zab judah early in his career. even tho he give a good account of himself the fact he had a defat on his record made it hard for him to challenge at the top. hes only just got himself another shot at a world title after 10 years as a pro.

all about a steady rise in the calibre of opponents to build a nice record and challenging at the top when hes fully ready imo

More chance of you selling your RIG to get an XB1.

WILL. NOT. HAPPEN. And if somehow it did, i'll bet you a shiny penny it won't be on May 2nd. He only picked that date because Canelo has got it booked.

boxing lol
there was about 3 bouts that were so obviously rigged it was embarrassing to be a boxing fan.
timothy bradley fight being among the worst.
thurman can fuck off as well, cost me a shite ton of money, 'one time' spent the entire fight on his bike against a 40 year old  would love to see him get exposed against Brook
2014 has been so shit for boxing, especially the last month or so.

I've lost a fair bit of interest, the 'cold war'/haymon/and the 'big names' refusing to make the fights people want to see is taking the fun out of it all.

Rat - If TR can keep making fortunes with MP fighting cans in China, they will. They won't cash him out against Mayweather unless they have too. He may win a few rounds and make it a slightly interesting fight, but Mayweather will time him every time he comes in - easy work. Also May 2nd is already tee'd up for Canelo v Cotto @ MGM.

The date I wasn't arguing about. I think it will happen now personally. Doesn't have the tools now to trouble mayweather now. Lost a fair bit of power and speed

I don't believe that Mayweather is ducking him, I just think there are too many egos involved to to make it happen. I'd love to be proved wrong as it'd be a great event - but yeah, Mayweather would make light work of it if he came in 100%.

There's a lot of egos involved but there is a hell of a lot of money involved too.

Money will ultimately talk IMO.

You definitely reckon Mayweather would win? Manny's workrate is superb and Floyd isn't stopping him.

Still a great fight.

His workrate isn't THAT good anymore, takes 1min+ per round off. It's nowhere near what it was 5 years ago.

What I find strange about the obsession with this fight is the fact MP's kryptonite is Marquez - and Mayweather does everything Marquez does - better.

MP is my favorite fighter of all time, from 2003 to 2009 he was from a different planet, but this MP is not beating Mayweather unless he gets old that night.

Also, MP got something like 25mil against Chris 'I've been boxing for 6 weeks' Algeri and Mayweather is on a 32 mil guarantee even if digs up a corpse and fights that.

Manny arguably had the better of those fights until Marquez teamed up with the drugs cheat from Balco and suddenly got a ripped physique, acne and knockout power aged 41 after never putting him down in any of their previous fights.

Mayweather doesn't have that power IMO.

Forgetting the 4th fight, it was really 1-1-1 at best. Mayweather is better than the Marquez from the first 3 fights.

He won't KO him, nobody really thinks that. But he will win 116-112.

I stand by my shocked comments that it's actually happening.

I wish I was more excited, but I'm not really fussed. Shit buildup, Mayweather has gone quiet and respectful and Manny just bangs on about God now.

The fight itself won't be exciting either and I'll probably be so flat by 5am I won't by able to see anything.

The whole thing has just been strange.

Mayweather has been nearly silent. It's one of the biggest fights of all time and he doesn't even seem to be hyping it. I really hope I'm wrong but I think he's just fully dedicated to training and is going to put on a masterclass - he has always steped up in his biggest fights, but then again so has Pacquaio.

Been watching a shitload of their fights over the last week or so. I reckon Mayweather will edge it on points (although I would much rather see the pricks face caved in) but Pacquaio's offence, as brutal as it may be is a little too open for my liking and I can see Mayweather taking full advantage. He doesn't have the punching power to K.O Manny but will definitely pick his moments. The cunt is just too quick and clever.

I don’t think there’s any way it’s not massively anti-climactic, Floyd puts on another defensive clinic and wins a UD, IMO.

Is it going to be on at about 5am yeah? Might just download a torrent when i'm up. Pretty much every time a big fight is on i get sniff to stay up but then i'm too fucked to concentrate on it at that time.
