Scottish tennis player Andy Murray has said he will be wearing a Paraguay shirt on June 10th and will be cheering on England's opponents in the World Cup. 19 year old tennis "star" Murray, has also said that he will be supporting all of England's opponents,whoever they play, in the World Cup. His ill chosen remarks were reported in the media (The Mail on Sunday 6th June) and The Sun (1st June) and have travelled worldwide with the Los Angels Times and the Canadian Media also picking up on his need to demonstrate his Scottishness by his stance. Interesting that he is still happy to play at Wimbledon’s All England Club, but he shouldn’t rely upon the loyal faithful predominantly English ticket holders to support the underdog after this tirade. More likely they will be supporting whichever foreign player he is matched against. Perhaps he would be better advised to find hiimself a new coach and work at improving his game which saw him crash out in the first round of both the recent French Open and Stella Artois Championships.

i would like to see Nadal win, the sooner Murray is knocked out the better, i would prefer to see some1 other than RF in the final maybe Roddick v Nadal but Nadal would walk that one imo.

Andy Murray just seems like a complete twat, and I couldnt give a fuck what country someone is from, a twat is a twat and I love it when he loses. I'm guessing Nadal and Federer in the final, depending on the fixtures I could see Hewitt getting far, on a return to form as he is getting back to some good shape and he was always good at Wimbledon. Roddick will do well, but I dont think its his year to win a grand slam, I can see Nalbandian and Haas doing well and a couple of others. But with Nadal playing so very very well and being the first to win the French open then Queens right after, he is the only one who I think can beat Federers amazing grass record, but I'd put money on him winning, in fact I think I may gamble for the first time in my life.

C'MON MURRAY Can't see past a Federer V Nadal final. Nadal is stronger but people always saw he's in with a big chance becuase Wimbledon follows the clasy season and he always dominates. Won't have it all his own way on grass should be good though when is andy on first? Today?
